Volunteer Incentives | Why do we need Volunteers?
Our volunteers make more money, shop first, are appreciated,and have fun!
The success of the Shop Kids Event is due largely to the efforts of our volunteer workers. We hope that is you.
Our volunteer workers receive pre-sale passes to shop before the consignors and general public. There is no limit on the number of volunteers needed!
| The more we have the more successful our event will be! Volunteer duties will include: consignor check in, shopper check out, set up of racks, security, sorting, take down of racks, and general duties associated with day to day activity.

| • | ***NEW*** REFER 3 AND YOURS IS FREE! Refer 3 friends that consign with your name as their referral and your $9.00 consignor fee will be waived. (new consignor referrals only) |
| • | The Shop Kids Sale is growing and we need more help getting the word out! With double the amount of consignors and shoppers and triple the amount of space, we need your help! It's fun, you get to see what great deals there are, there are great people to meet, and you get a chance to earn more money on your sales!!! |
| • | Volunteer any 2 hour shift and receive 70% of your sales |
| • | Volunteer any 4 hour shift and receive 75% of your sales |
| • | Volunteer any 8 hour shift and receive 80% of your sales (or two 4-hour shifts) |
| • | Volunteer during the designated set up and break down shifts on and receive 80% of your sales for only working the 5 hour shift. |

| • | 2 Hour Volunteer Hour Opportunities: |
| • | Post the event on Facebook, bring in drinks or snacks for 10 people, supply 100 big plastic bags, put consignor packets together, put out 10 yard signs, make 500 copies of sale forms, get flyers to 4 daycares/schools, get 2 businesses to sponsor our event at $25 level, or post event on Craigslist. |

| • | 4 Hour Volunteer Opportunities: |
| • | Distribute 200 flyers to friends and businesses, put together sponsor goody bags, print 200 flyers for the event, and work a 4 hour shift during the sale. |

| • | 8 Hour Volunteer Opportunities: |
| • | Provide a moving truck/van a day before the drop off, break down shift, set up shift, provide a laptop for us to use to check people out 2 weeks prior to the event, or two 4 hour shifts. |

*** Due to safety and liability, we are not able to allow our volunteers to bring their children with them to help with their shift. Kids under 13 are NOT ALLOWED to accompany volunteers. Thanks for helping us keep your kids safe.***
VOLUNTEER NO SHOW POLICY
If you are unable to work your shift we ask that you find a replacement to fill in for you. To help deter the possibility of a volunteer not showing up, Shop Kids Event will discount the profits from 70%, 75%, or 80% to 50%. We understand emergencies will happen and will treat them on a case by case basis. You can contact us for more information at Volunteers@shopkidsevent.com
